Project involves scraping all the official reports of the parliamentary debates of singapore (accessible at [login to view URL]). There are 3 deliverables at the end of the project: (1) a csv file which sets out the sitting date, parliament number, session number, sitting number, volume number and direct url link. See attached [login to view URL] file for a sample of the required output. (2) a folder of all the text files (.txt) of all the full official reports. Please note that the report which should be extracted is the full report (i.e. not particular segments of text filtered by MP etc.). Using the session on 16 August 2016, the full report is accessible at ([login to view URL]) and a sample is attached as 267.txt. This should be the result and not partial reports like the one found at [login to view URL] (3) the python script (.py) which generates the .csv and .txt files described above. The script should be written for a python 3.5 environment and will be run from the command line/terminal. The command line input should also allow for flags specifying the start date and end date of the scraping. Script should also be well-commented for subsequent modification.
