I can guve you a desktop application to do that in java or .net as you prefer. the GUI will have option to enter tha path of REST service and the path wgere excel file has to be created. I have previously developed similar project.

I have implemented this kind of functionality so many times, so i'll achieve it asap. In my previous project i have exported excel from REST service.

I'm using excel a lot in my works. It's just a good thing to export data to excel to analyze it, it back from excel to project config or db. Restful service - 15 minutes (more if api is complex) Import/export to excel - 15-30 minutes (more if big and complex tables, just needs time to input everything) Some more time for your business logic.

Not a big project using Jersey and apache poi or JExcelApi. Have experience using everything of above.

I want to know exactly how much data you want in excel. further there is no issue of any type of feeding could be coverted in excel.
