Here’s a small area we need you to extract the building footprints, you’re free to use any GIS software of your choice (Esri ArcGIS, QGIS,..etc), you need to use a web map service imagery with high resolution of covers the area of interest (preferably Google Imagery). Area of Interest (AOI): (5 x 5) Km2 , file will be submitted later upon starting of the project. Estimated Number of Buildings: ~ 4000 Buildings Deliverables: Output File format: 2D Esri Shape File (.shp), recommended, if possible, a File GDB Feature Class. Output Coordinates System: Projected (WGS_1984_Web_Mercator_Auxiliary_Sphere). Milestones: Milestone 1: Submit first 100 Polygons for QC, receive 10% of the payment. Milestone 2: Submit 1000 polygons for QC, receive 10% of the payment. Milestone 2: Submit remaining 2900 polygons for QC, receive rest of the payment. Reward: You’ll receive Bonus 10% upon the completion for excellent quality, 5 Stars rating, and appreciation, recommendation acknowledgement on you profile. Please confirm the software you want to use, and satellite imagery service, and the latest estimate you could submit the deliverable for proposal. **Submissions without a submitted proposal will be ignored.

Hi! I will work with ArcGIS, I will use the ESRI service, but if you prefer I can work also with QGIS and goolge maps. I can finish around Christmas - 24th (or even before). Relevant Skills and Experience I have 7 years of experience working with ArcGIS and QGIS. 4000 polygons takes a long time, that's why my bid is so high, but i am open for further discussion. Relevant Skills and Experience I have several years using GIS in the official cartography institution of my country, developing basic and thematic cartography, using different sensors aerial and satellite with geomatics tools. Proposed Milestones $61 CAD - Data delivered in time and quality I propose to do the work with ESRI (ArcGIS) using satellite platform images provided by Google, which are quite recent, incorporating everything into a database in an organized and structured way. You can make partial deliveries by covered surface to review the advances in the digitalization and verify the quality of it. In the same way you can send the data and images of the cartographic base used to have them as a reference for future projects. Using ArcMap, I will extract the building footprints inside the AOI that you specify. I will use the World Imagery service from Esri as a basemap which has a resolution of 1 meter or better in the US. Relevant Skills and Experience I am a GIS specialist. I have undergone Esri-certified training programs on the ArcGIS platform. With these, I learned to employ best practices in performing various GIS tasks. Proposed Milestones $10 CAD - First 100 polygons inside the area of interest. $10 CAD - Next 1000 polygons inside the area of interest. $80 CAD - Remaining 2900 polygons to cover all the building footprints inside the area of interest. May I know the level of detail you need for feature extraction (how accurate should the data be captured and in what scale)?
