Assistance with Facebook profile

I am seeking assistance with reinstatement of a FaceBook profile for a friend of mine. The profile, which is perfectly valid and already operating on FB for 5 years was disabled without warning on 22nd December, since which time, we have been unable to reactivate it. We believe it was disabled because of original ID docs submitted running out. We have since resubmitted docs by email (8 times), by FB recovery/appeal form (6 times) and by snail mail to FB HQ in Ireland (twice), but cannot get any response.
