To me, social media is not just something that college kids do in their spare time. I understand that social media is the No. 1 way that clients today can communicate with their key audiences and am ready to put my expertise to work for you.
The first step is to have a comprehensive social media policy, so that each person who handles marketing for this brand knows what the key messages are, who our audiences are, and what we are communicating each week. I believe that creating a content calendar is the way to ensure that you are consistent with your outreach. At the same time, you have to be able to pivot on a dime to make sure that you are taking advantage of any opportunities that come your way, tapping into newsy or timely events to keep your content fresh.
Do I sound like I know a lot about social media? I do! I have learned "on the job," so to speak, by developing a social media policy for the local Humane Society. As an animal lover, I could relate to the Humane Society’s mission so it was easy to translate that into great messages. I started tweeting under the name of a "pet" that was available for adoption and increased our follower count by 20 percent. Even more than that, we got much more engagement and interaction.
.
I have also attached my resume, along with references from a teacher and my supervisor at the Humane Society. They will attest to my responsiveness and the fact that I am a hard, but creative, worker.
Thank you for your consideration. I look forwa
