Hi,
I'm looking to get a flash animation made for a website I have designed for my employer, I am not good enough in Flash to design this myself - and won't be earning on top of the payment for this project.
The flash animation needed is for a solar power service page on our company website.
We will provide you with our company logo, size requirements and a whole host of information on the start of the project. We are looking to work closely with the designer to ensure we get the result we want.
Heres some notes that my employer gave me on the animation:
---------------------------------------------------------------
Think Kellogs! .. Bright, sunny, colourful and cartoony.
Page starts off black then fades in a picture of 3 green hills and a brown 3 bar fence.
A rooster lands on the fence and cocka doodle doo.
Sun shoots up from behind the hills.
A farm style house (think Fisher Price) pops up from the ground with solar panels on the roof.
The sun then emits beams of yellow lines onto the house.
The front of the house opens like a dolls house.
A single red line needs to start from the solar panels and run to the fuse board, once it reaches the fuse board it needs to start the process again.
From the fuse board a blue line needs to run round the house passing through all the electrical equipment, once it hits the last piece of equipment it starts the process again.
Inside the house you can see various pieces of electrical equipment starting to work (tv, washing machine, lights, oven)
Needs to work in an average flash player so people don't have to upgrade to view it. So the annoying "Please Upgrade Your Flash" box doesn't appear.
---------------------------------------------------------------
The animation must then end with a "Click here for more information" button, which will then direct to the text based page on our website that is already built.
Essentially this is an introduction animation to display how solar works in a simple and friendly way.
The process it must convey can be see here:

The chosen freelancer would need to go over in detail exactly the process we want conveyed in order to not cause confusion. We would most likely email a scan of a rough sketch and leave the design and animation down to the freelancer.
So that's about all we have for now, an interesting animation that needs some creative and imaginative.
Please respond with estimates and examples of previous work is 100% required, we will not consider applicants with no obvious experience in Flash / Animations / Illustrations.
All the best,
Dean
