I am a student and I have been tutoring to make a living. Recently I am tutoring many students. I have decided to open my own business and hire tutors and find more students. I would like to have my own website and gradually expand. I need someone to make me a very professional website, with 5 or 6 pages of information. I personally think the simpler the website is the more attractive it is. I don`t like those websites that have so many contents on one page where the viewer can`t even find out where to click to access basic information. I am also not a huge fan of too many colors mixed, and pretty much find stuff that are too colorful unattractive. When I shop for cloths, cars, furniture and etc I always tend to pick stuff that are black gray and white. But I don`t know much about web design so feel free to give me feedback. I would like some attractive pictures on my site about education, teaching, private classes, happy students and so on. I would like my contact number to be very visible on top of the main page and maybe every page as well. In the future I might want to modify my website and make it in a way where people can pay me on my website, purchase packages (like a 5 hour package for tutoring) and perhaps log in. But at this point I would be ok with just an informative website, displaying information. I don`t wanna put pictures of my tutors yet, but I would like my picture to be there as the founder or CEO of the company. I am a student and I don`t wanna go too far a pay so much. So price is definitely one of my major factors in picking a bidder. I would also prefer some one local so we can meet. I live in santa monica and westwood area in los angeles. I go to UCLA and I live very close to campus. So I would prefer a local designer so perhaps we can meet and I can discuss my other need beside my website, such as my logo and business card design as well.

Hello! Well, first, congratulations! It's always good to see that people are developing their own business! I do hope everything goes well! Now, about the project. Look, I can do the whole thing for you - site, logo and business card for 100 dollars. But there are some conditions, of course. Site would have to be one of the Wordpress themes I have access to. Wordpress is pretty easy to use so you won't have much trouble to change or even add shopping cart - there are plugins for that. The logo and business card would be very simple because graphic design is not my strong suit. Another thing is because I live in Brazil, we wouldn't meet. We could talk via Skype. In case you decide not to hire me, I do have an idea do share. If you really want to hire a Freelancer over here, instead of project you can open a contest. This way people will submit the work to you and then you hire and pay someone after already seing something you like. My suggestion would be to do this for logo and business card, after you have that, you open a regular project for the website and people will build it based on the logo and card already designed. It's best if one thing complements the other. Well, even if I'm not the person for the job, I hope the info was useful. Please, do consider me. Thank you!
