I have a simple glossary script that retrieves the data from an external json file that's hosted on a completely different server. I'm having problems because of CORS(cross-origin resource sharing). Because the JSON file is hosted on a separate location from the script it causes problems. For example, the script is on [login to view URL] and the JSON feed is coming from def.com. The url for the JSON feed may be something like [login to view URL] I just need to modify the script so the JSON feed can come from any public JSON file as long as the data is in the same format. This must be done with javascript and javascript only. You can fetch the data with ajax. Please only bid if you can start immediately.

Hello there, This problem can be due to 2 issues, first due to server side configuration, in this case we can't solve it from javascript. second: Due to improper call, in this case we can solve it from javascript. Please let me know the url, if it can be done from js then, I would like to be considered for this job. Thanks!

Since JavaScript cross origin policy is controlled via the browser, you can't update the script to work around it, without something else. what you need is a server side implementation. I can do this. Thanks
