We are a startup, building a new and best-of-breed data-visualization tool for executive management teams. We are seeking an experienced .NET developer who is also is deep in the use of Javascript and Javascript graphics libraries such as D3. You'll need at least 3 years of verifiable .NET programming experience, very strong knowledge of Javascript and knowledge of REST programming to be considered for the wider ongoing opportunity. This small initial project is a test, intended to validate that you have these skills and can deliver. This project consists of the following tasks: 1. Establish the web site setup 2. Program a home page sign-up process with email verification that looks and feels exactly like the one found at this web site: [login to view URL] 3. Establish a dashboard-style user interface by leveraging open source libraries that create this functionality. 4. Program the first feature, a dynamic data visualization based the uploading of a simple CSV file containing the content for the visualization. Successfully programming this feature requires the ability to modify the Javascript code of certain D3 library functions. 5. Make the first feature accessible from the dashboard installed in step (3) above.
