Thoughtful person to activate new social action program

I'm looking for someone with the skills, experience and insight to help develop a new multi-faceted, scalable, ambitious and idealistic social program called Visionary Society. You could be a project manager, marketing specialist, or someone with any of the professional skills needed to make this work. But the main thing is that you understand and are interested in one of the actual programs. I wasn't planning to post this here, since this project involves a deeper level of thought and commitment than normal, but then I realized that what I really need at this point is simply the right person, wherever they are. This is not a job. It is a chance to help create something unique and of unique importance (but we will also pay for your work). Visionary Society has a number of tools to help people think about their lives and society, and then to take direct, non-political action to build alternatives. It is composed of what we call Opportunities, Places, Topics and Projects, and our new simple newspaper, Visionary News. We have spent a few years developing the site, and now are ready for help getting the public involved. In order to help you’d have to spend a fair of time learning about the systems, looking for any improvements we might need to make, and then moving forward. I’m not expecting you to get involved with all of this, just the area (or areas) that interest you and that you think you can help with and and actually make successful. To begin I expect to pay for part-time work of several hours per week. Opportunities Share anything you care about with the community – concerns, plans, events, learning opportunities, or help needed. Opportunities is meant to be a kind of Craigs list for meaningful action. Places Work with the businesses and organizations that you use to make them more thoughtful and helpful. Places includes Ratings (deeper than Yelp), Requests (a new form of social action), and Information (broader than Wikileaks). Topics A simple new way to explore any topic of critical importance, compare and vote on opposing points of view, and decide on an action plan. In the polarized contemporary environment, new forums for respectful discussion are essential. Projects Projects is a way to encourage and support people in envisioning and actually building new solutions to social problems.
