As part of the Computer Science HL Course in IB I have decided to create a HK Bird Database which will idealy show any bird watcher in HK the recent locations of any particular bird species and display them using the Google Maps API. Other features I wish to include will be the ablitity to recieve push notifications for any bird the user as subscribed to along with the ability to record a sighting of a bird specie. Since it is a school project the application will not need to be anywhere near marketable, but instead in a state for future extensability.
