Small business requiring scalix email setup.
Background:
4 actual users
Currently using Outlook 2003 with IMAP for emails. Several Calendars, and 2 address books. Categories is used extensively for contacts.
3 domains for email
2 businesses (2 domains apply to one business)
Of the 2 businesses, one is a marketing business, the other is small accommodation business with 4 rooms that can be booked.
Centos 5.5 server in place storing emails for imap access and using fetchmail to pull them from online host from the 3 domains as follows:
sales[a t]marketingbusiness
reception[a t]accommodationbusiness
reception[a t]accommodationbusinessothersite
information[a t]accommodationbusiness
and user emails.
The non user emails will need to be shared/public email folders accessible by several defined users (currently all 4 but will likely be split in future)
A Centos 5.5 Xen DomU called 'scalix' has been setup on the centos 5.5 server (Dom0). A standard scalix install has been done on this and the domain set for this is 'marketingbusiness'
Tasks required:
Setup scalix so that it runs for all 3 domains
4 Users set up on scalix
Other email accounts (shared) set up on scalix
Calendars setup for each user, for each of the 4 accommodation rooms for booking and for marketing business shared and accommodationbusiness shared
Contacts setup in 2 groups: marketingbusiness, accommodationbusiness
and as shared contacts to relevant users
Activesync setup for 2 users to allow exchange connection on android phones.
Possible future things not in this project:
Setup sugarcrm for integrated contacts and bookings etc and use of the contacts categories.
Would prefer someone who knows scalix rather than someone who will play around and learn on the job.
Thanks
