What will you do? Our proof of concept has been developed and released. We are now looking to rebuild our iOS App in-house. The key focus for this version is a) Design: make the app easier to navigate and visually stunning b) Performance: make the app highly performant so it is in line with global leaders like WhatsApp c) New features: add some great new functionality As our iOS developer, you will be in charge of building the entire app from scratch. You will • Lead our iOS App development and work closely with our Engineering Lead and back-end team. • Drive the use of new iOS technologies • Build a great iOS App experience for our users • Work closely with our Product & Marketing teams What are we looking for? We are looking for an experienced app developer who can lead our App development and work closely with our Engineering Lead. We need someone who can create a blazingly fast app and yet be obsessed about every little front end detail. Someone who loves iOS development and is looking for an opportunity to show what they can really do. We are looking for someone with the following minimum qualifications: • Past experience of developing or leading iOS app development. Ideally you have created at least 10 apps from scratch (or fewer blindingly good ones!) • Experience of working in Xcode with Objective C or Swift • Experience in integrating with back-end systems & API’s • Previous exposure to AWS or Heroku a plus. • Familiarity with Git, MongoDB, MySQL…if you know FireBase you’ve got our attention! • Some experience or knowledge of these would be great; AFNetworking, AlamoFire, SlackTextViewController, MGSwipeTableCell, SnapKit, HockeyKit, MagicalRecord, PDTSimpleCalendar, TimesSquare, PermissionScope, SVProgressHUD • Located in London – ideally within commuting distance of Silicon Roundabout
