Help with SQL

Any ideas why SELECT u.created_by FROM user_pages c LEFT JOIN user_profiles u ON c.page_id = [login to view URL] LIMIT 0 , 30 is working and giving me a list of users who created pages, and SELECT u.created_by FROM user_pages c LEFT JOIN user_profiles u ON c.page_id = [login to view URL] ORDER BY `u`.`created_by` ASC LIMIT 0 , 30 gives me bunch of NULLs?!?! actually I need to count amount of pages created by each user, but even failed to sort em out in a way I need. ## Deliverables 1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
