The system is an e-billing system where each customer sends out certified PDF invoices based on their own layout. An invoicing template has been build and exists in 2 versions: a brief one page invoice and a detailed invoice, which has the same brief one page summary and the details on further pages. The XSD schema has been designed and should normally never change when a new customer is added to the system. Hence the modification are only pure layout modifications like a different logo, change fonts and more of those things. There is NO javascript to be used at all, not even for totals. They are supplied by the XML. The invoice is dynamic based on the number of lines in the details otherwise static. Project defined here consists of: - Download the Word layout sample - Adjust based on an existing XDP to achieve the layout as given in Word - Test with XMLs provided - Commit the XDP in SVN I am using Redmine to communicate on the project and its status. I am myself a LiveCycle Designer expert. I have ACE/ACI status at Adobe on this product. I will supervise the development. Project described here is for one template but when job is done adequately, new templates will be attributed also.

I am C# .Net developer working with windows desktop application development. I have worked on UI and business layer development in desktop application. During my course development, I have worked on reading and writing data from XML files. I can work on this project as I have good knowledge on working with XML files. I am new to working with XDP document which converts PDF to XML and viceversa . Still I can do good job with minimal supervision. Thanks for posting your project. Hello I have experience in the following areas of Adobe LiveCycle ES4: - Designer - Workbench I have managed/implemented several technology projects . One of the project is Implementation Forms and Reports using Adobe LiveCycle. This project included implementation of more than 200 forms and reports. Basically the forms include data populated forms and not data populated (user entry forms). 1) We imported word and/or pdf forms to xdp (initially we used the pdf format , then we stick with xdp version due to more flexibility with xdp version). - This was done using designer. 2) Data Binding/Data Connection with defined XML established. 3) The process of writing SQL Query and rendering the generated forms is done by creating a process in the workbench. Query is used to populate the data. 4) Generated process is involved using the rest url in application. Note: There are some forms in which the users entered fields need to saved in our system(DB) . As part of the save (button) action, we called Net webservice in which we passed the generated xml to the webserice. Within the webservice/method, we separated the data field value and saved those details in the database. Brought the success with a very good team. We understand the available XSD schema and sample xml that will be provided. Also understood that wordlayout will be given . We need to use teh word template to generate the xdp file, then align fields and make the needed changes such as logo or format, then test it..
