157107 Fix Script Error

I have two scripts that are merged together (phpfox 1.1 and vbulletin) Independently I do not have this probelem with either script, but when then are merged together using the mothod that was describe at phpfox to do this, the problem happens. The problem is: When I type a " or a ' in the vbulletin forums it will put a backslash in front like /" /'. I know this has to do with Magic quotes and I have been told that is the problem, but again it works fine until they are both put together. If you have experience and can do this rapidly, then please make bid. I really would like to have this done this weekend. Thanks!
