I need an email client developed for an embedded application. The current email client (I do not have source) does not support ESMTP. The new client must support ESMTP.
This client must be developed in C not C++ or any other variant. It can be developed for windows as long as all the windows interfaces can be easily and quickly removed. The final target for this client is an embedded microprocessor. The number of windows function calls must be kept to an absolute minimum. No mallocs or other memory functions are allowed. I must state it again, I have to move this code to an embedded microcontroller, I need to have minimum windows interfaces.A test program for this client would do the following:
Send an email with some test data to a list of receivers every minute for ten minutes. I want the coder to develop this test program as a demonstration that the email client works properly for lots of different email servers.
I am not an expert in email servers. Please contact me with questions and I will attempt to get them answered.
