SIMPLE JOB: DISPLAY LARGE SOLD OVERLAY ON ITEM IN CLASSIFIEDS

FIRST OF ALL - I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TYPE OF PROGRAMMING IS NEEDED FOR THIS SO DISREGARD WHAT I PUT. I JUST PUT SOME RANDOM IDEAS TO TRY AND GET THIS TO THE RIGHT PEOPLE. The Job is simple. I own GeoCore classifieds [login to view URL] and when a users item is sold, they simply click sold and a tiny sold icon comes up in the subject line. However, there is a add-on that in addition to this puts a much larger overlay of the word "SOLD" over the top of the item being sold. They are charging $50 USD for it which I think is too high for something so simple and I'm not looking to resell it but in short, if you also feel it could be done for less, please let me know. Let me be clear I'm not trying to rip this guys software off nor do I intend to sell it but just want something simple to work on my own site that does the same thing without having to pay so much. Plus I'd like to trade you a set of 5 stars in return in exchange out of the deal. My only requirement like with all my jobs is that I don't pay a milestone especially for something so simple till I see it working and I'll in turn put the agreed upon amount into freelancers escrow for you for proof of funds which will be released as soon as I see it works fine.
