keep show/hide div toggle when refreshing page wordpress

Good evening. I have installed a plugin to my wordpress blog that consists in a toggle show/hide for any DIV that I specify in the script. The script is used basically in the post template. So all my posts have the same structure, with DIVs that I want to show/hide. But I want something that my plugin doesn't do. F.e. When I hide a DIV and I refresh the page manually, or jump to another post, that DIV shows again, and I don't want that. I want that when a DIV is been hid by me, that DIV stays hid in all the posts until I decide to show it again, wherever I am. This is it. I can specify the plugin that I installed to use it as a reference in order to add this new feature. Thank you very much
