osC 2.2 Create Products Pages, PHP 4+, mysql 3+ and Integrate with Payment Modules and Store Design (v.I FEB '06)(repost)

Thank you Bassmintmusic ## Deliverables [login to view URL] will start selling compact discs (new category 1), ring tones (new category 2), shirts (category 3) & hats (category 4) and other thingies such as, stickers, pens, pictures (category 5). We needs 5 new category products pages added to osCommerce 2.2 ms2 and integrated into the Order/ Checkout process and work in conjunction with the already posted and functioning digital downloads and subscription based memberships. * I. Coder will develop new products pages in PHP 4+, and Java Script and possibly other languages (e.g. HTML, XHTML, DHTML, XML) for each new product category mentioned above. * II. Coder will add product categories to the front-end of the store in a table and osCommerce admin/ backend areas for access and management. NOTE: Ring Tones will need the same or similar back-end upload protocol process and set up as the digital downloads are currently set up in - more details will be forthcoming. * III. Coder will need to make sure the shipping module is working in conjunction (together) with the Order / Checkout process for these items. The order must show us either in a osCommerce admin area and or email what shipping option the customer selected with the rest of their order when placing their order. * IV. Coder will develop an order confirmation email for these new category products orders and an order Que for pending orders in the osCommerce admin area (we think there is an order Que already in osCommerce we just need the Coder to make sure all areas of the Que is working properly). * V. May need this may not - similar to above Delivery confirmation system (email or another system otherwise integrated with osCommerce). * VI. We will create the layout design for each page. The coder team will need to integrate each new products page layout design (basically in the middle column area - the first and third columns content should remain the same) into the present store design and phpmyadmin (mySQL database) and functionality. * VII. Mysql Database will need to be upgraded - Coder will create new functionality to complete the integration of our new category products database. * VIII. We will upload the new products page designs to you as and when you need each of them. * IX. HELP & FAQ page will need additional questions and answers posted to the HELP/ FAQ pages * X. Create 2 either 1.5 x 1.5" or 2.5 x 2.5" with a box with an x in it and the Close option (e.g. [x]CLOSE) and drop down or slide down advertising windows that are kind of transparent in nature but display the advertised information. We will provide the JPG or GIF file of the advertisement. When the potential customer browses and views the Catalog (home page) or when they log in on the Catalog (home page) after 15 seconds the 1st AD will appear and once they click the AD it will take them to the advertised page within our store. The ad has to work around pop-up blockers and appear. * * XI. If Buyer finds out coder has used its server for storage, display purpose, e-commerce or for anything other then what Buyer is using it for the Buyer has the right to cancel this bid and be reimbursed all monies deposited without a penalty for any unauthorized use of its property. 5) Coder will forfeit the bid amount (or fees) if he/she misses more than one deadline. Buyer does not want to enter into arbitration unless absolutely necessary. Buyer's intent is to receive all work agreed to be performed in a timely fashion by the due date. Buyer also understands more time may be needed to finish the project. If a deadline is going to be missed the Coder must alert Buyer as soon as possible to give Buyer the option to extend the bid or enter into arbitration if necessary. i) The Coder agrees that they will forfeit whatever work has been completed up until that point and uploaded on Buyers server in full as a 'work for hire' and no payment will be given. The 'work for hire' will be deemed paid for in lost time and owned by Buyer as stated in accordance with paragraph 3 herein these deliverables. 6) Coder will not replicate, transfer, download or copy any files whatsoever without the express written or electronically transmitted consent of Buyer. Buyer will first post their consent on RAC bid message board whether or not Coder can perform any of the above actions. Coder will forfeit its bid amount if Buyer finds out that Coder has done so without its permission. ## Platform You will have temporary backend admin access to OsCommerce and ftp directory access to ?/store/ directory on our server. You will not have complete and total access to the entire server. We use a Linux/ Unix based operating system on our server. The server is loaded with current versions of osCommerce 2.2+, Linux 2.4.29, Apache/1.3.33 (Unix), PHP/4.3.10, MySQL 3.23.58 All deliverables need to work satisfactory to the Buyers liking with all traditional and consumer based operating systems Windows 97, 98, ME, XP, XP PRO, Linux/ Unix and Mac operating systems Browsers: Firefox 1+, Opera 8+ and All 3.0+ versions of Internet Explorer and Netscape's latest version, Safari 1+ and MSN Browser and other popular browsers.
