201343 Firefox Extension / Site / DB

Hello! This project contains two segments: a) small script that will manage new users, store their photo, email address, and cell phone number. b) build firefox extension that will display a bar at the bottom of the browser that is an inch high. this bar will display and access user information from database in segment a) via the site. This is a "friend" or "contact" extension that will let you add contacts and have them displayed in the extension bar at the bottom of the browser. When you click on a contact thumbnail, it pops up a window displaying the name and picture of the person, as well as a sms 'send text to cell' field, 'send email' field, and 'select photo' field. This info is stored to the site (where they download and sign up) in the database. The bar is pretty much just a tiny browser window that is displaying the contact data. Skills needed: - Ability to create sms text message system that can send a text message to all major cell providers. - Ability to make a 'crop' image function so users crop their contact images to a perfect square, so that all thumbnail images at the bottom match and look good. - Ability to create a database system where the user creates an account that stores username, password, cell phone, and email. - Ability to split the database to store both the user data, and also the user's contacts data. * PLEASE VIEW THE ATTACHED JPGs TO SEE THE GRAPHIC MOCK-UP OF HOW IT SHOULD LOOK & WORK.
