[login to view URL] is a gossip/tabloid blog about internet celebrities & social networking sites. It's a WordPress blog with widgets & features ... namely the StickyCam, which lets users take snapshots of their webcams which are temporarily displayed on our site.
I want to add 2 new sections to the site: A Gallery page for StickyCam images, and another blog section called "My Drama" that allows users to upload their own posts/images/videos/links.
The MyDrama section, I assume, would just be another WordPress page ... same exact thing as the Home page, with all the same widgets, but it would allow anyone to post content. (We do have trouble with hackers ... I've been told several suggestions to secure the site against malicious uploads, the best sounding one was to make all files reformatted with GD.)
We got the idea for the StickyCam from a gay porn site. They have a cam gallery; at the time we didn't want a gallery but now we do. We want it exactly like theirs: [login to view URL]
They allow other readers to comment, email, and view all images taken by the same person. To do this, they allow people to register for free, to keep the names associated with all the images taken by one user:

For both the Gallery and My Drama sections, I need to be able to edit,
delete, and blacklist certain IPs or text, just like I can in the other WordPress sections.
I would like readers to be able to search by author's name as for My Drama, so I guess we need to setup a login for them as well. Right now I'm inclined to let writers edit & delete their own content, but I'd like the option to make a "switch" for me to disallow that at anytime too.
