Database info connected to wiki pages

I have a private password protected wiki installation. Now the pages is static, but I want to create and connect a database to the wiki. The database is supposed to be used to store news. Every news item needs these specific fields - title - link - publish date (possible to change) - free text - names of people mentioned in the article (20-30 names in checkboxes and possibility to add more checkboxes/names) - issue. (choose from 5-8 issues in checkboxes and possibility to add more checkboxes/names) Below the static content on specific pages I want to list information from the database. A specific issue page should list all content tagged with the same issue. I want it to be very easy to make the connection from the static page to the database content. I think this is the best way of doing this, but please make any improvement suggestions if any.
