Your aim is to create an interactive map with a static map of the state of Massachusetts, with certain towns shaded where your organization has partnerships. Their logos will also be situated on these towns at their addresses. Clicking on a logo will open a dialog or modal of some sort to display more information about the partner organization. I believe that this is a very doable project. I have experience working to integrate Javascript widgets with Wordpress based sites, in particular using jQuery, which I noted that your site uses (sorry, I do not have an example as the web site in question has been taken down by the owners since I worked on it). I have a plan for implementing your interactive map using jQuery which should fit well into the overall architecture of your site.
