Hi, One year ago i started a project with on guy who had to stop after 3 months works due to personal reasons. Overall the product he delivered was not too bad. I want to develop the software further but everyone i showed the software was under the impression that i might be too difficult to go through the source code and some of them suggested to rewrite the whole software first within symfony framework and only then add further modules which were planned for it. [login to view URL] user: dummy01 pw; hello123 So besides basically copying the software to symfony...i need below features added...and the interface a little pimped - as i mentioned, the guy who wrote it had to leave due to personal reasons quite fast. 1.) add fully functional ACL which gives me the possibility to determine who can edit, view, etc whatever field create, groups, users, etc 2.) add possibility adding attachments to each product (must be able to set ACL, not all attachmetns shall be accessable to all users) 3.) rearrange the admin area better, the creator of this software forgot to implent simple things such as deleting an user 4.) redesign interface 5.) add functionality to export to create PDF catalogues based on predefined layouts and filter critieria (which shall be able to be flexible based on users choice) 6.) having the possibility to download a product starter set as a ZIP file...consisting choosen fields as TXT and part of the attachments He left me also this attachment for the follow up person...i hope it can help. Please let me know if you have questions... the timeframe for this whole project is approx 1-1.5months. tks

Not sure about the version of Symfony being used (may be 1.0), it may be better if we can reuse instead of writing from scratch. We look forward to your response to further the discussion, we are open to of something written from scratch just in case the old code was not of good quality. Hello. No i can't finish it in 3 days. i meant to change that to 15 days. :D AND... This is indeed a large project, which i might be able to pull out. i'm not sure myself that i can do that, since i haven't seen his codes yet... But i know for sure that i can get you forward in this project. I have been coding PHP for quite a while now, and i know MySql as well. Though, i'm not good at the design stuff. I can do the deleting user feature and the export PDF/ZIP stuff. And i might be able to do the create group thing. Hope you will consider hiring me. Again, i can't promise you anything... But then again, you don't have to pay me if i don't finish the job :P
