WordPress WooCommerce Developer

We are looking for a software developer with extensive familiarity with WooCommerce and WordPress to join our team part-time. Our WooCommerce plugins usually involve our entire development team, with one engineer as project lead. You’ll be involved in either reviewing, fixing, or building plugins from collaborative spec, or an idea. The ability to work with little design or guidance is important. We’ll provide sample code and our framework, and we need developers that can understand our standards and hit the ground running. This is a part-time position of at least 20 hours or more per week. Qualified applicants will be paid for a test project so we can get to know you and your code. Key responsibilities of applicant: - Maintaining existing plugin compatibility and squashing bugs - Adding new features to existing plugins - Building new plugins from a spec - Adhering to both WordPress and internal team code standards and frameworks - Communicating effectively with our team About you: - You take pride in committing object-oriented, PHP 5.2-compatible code to GitHub (and can’t wait to send us a link to your profile). - You love writing code that’s clear, readable, and standards-compliant.
