Web Server Spider

I need an application that scans a defined range of IP addresses for web servers. I do not want this to annoy the owners of the servers, as my only purpose is to provide a catalogue of useful sites for various topics. I need the application if possible to differentiate between Windows web servers & Linux web servers - though this is not an absolute must for the application, if a coder can do it, he will be the preferred coder over the one that is unable to do it. Once the application has scanned the IP address range, it will need to tell me which domain names are hosted on that server. I do not require any more information on the domain names other than that - I want this to be 100% legal, and 100% sound. Once this is done, I want to be able to click a button and be able to save it to a database, recording which websites are attached to the various servers / IP addresses. That is all I need - fairly simple for someone that knows what they are doing, and light work for an experienced coder. Thank you. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform This application needs to run off my Windows XP Professional SP2 PC.
