PHP Code Upgrade from 5.3 to 8+

I have expertise and experience in PHP and MySql and have upgraded the PHP version of sites/ applications coded by me. I am confident of upgrading the PHP version. I have studied the attached file. The site is coded in Codeigniter framework. So I wanted to know you only wish to upgrade PHP version or also the CI version from CI 3 to 4? Also I need to study the existing application to be able to assess scope of work precisely. I will revise / confirm my bid accordingly. OK, I've done some migrations of PHP7 (PHP5 implicit) to PHP8, 1. for my own code/projects, 2. for a third-party package a client used. However, I'm wondering about the size of your code-base, how much is it? Rough number of files, lines of code, or other metric? And I'm especially wondering about the extensions and additional features you want. Maybe migrate to PHP8 first and then see how complex and difficult (or simple?) your other changes/extensions might be. Maybe a good chance to use milestones? Greatly appreciated if you could describe these in advance, more or less. For now, I start with a high price and a long-ish timespan, for reason of these uncertainties. Both more of a placeholder, depending on if the work turns out to be easier or more difficult.
