Setup RSS feed bots on our Mastadon instance plus turn add to settings.

We have an instance of Mastadon in development. We'd like to have some bots setup to pull in RSS feeds into 20 accounts that we setup on our own instance. We will provide the account access and the RSS feed URL. The feed needs to pull in the featured image, date, content post (up to max), and link to the article with "...read more" if the content is greater than the max allowed. We'd also like to have user able to change the feed URL and turn this on/off in their Settings admin panel, also to set the number of posts to pull in. If this works we'd add additional features in a second project. There may be a number of bot scripts that can do this. One option is Feed2toot bot on 20 profiles to pull in a different RSS feed. You should be familiar with GIT and do this under our own repo, so that if we make changes we can offer it back to the community, or if the dev makes changes we can pull them in.
