The user inputs values into the text fields (upto 12) and once the focus changes from the last text field, the 13th can display the result. Background ajax call can save the text field values. When user refreshes the page, the text boxes will retain the values ( possibly from the session ) When the user leaves the page and come back, the values can be prefilled from the browser cookies. Please provide more background information on your requirement and if any wireframes or existing UrL to have a look at. Also provide a list of the required text fields and the result details. Hi, I understand you need one PHP page that talks to a MySQL DB to decide how many text boxes to display. It will display an extra one to summarise data from the boxes. Every time a box is changed (or a button?), it will save the values of all boxes (cookie & AJAX to server) and persist even if the user refreshes the page or comes back (as long as cookie hasn't been cleared). The question is, is this part of a logged in site? Otherwise how is the "saved to MySQL" correlated to user? I can definitely do this for you in the time specified.
