Wordpress Advertising Plugin

Objective -------------- To create a Wordpress plugin to allow my client to add Adverts to his website. All adverts are shown on the website based upon Postcode and Locations (town/city) in the United Kingdom (england) that has been entered into the search facility. Ad Types --------------- * Search Results - Adverts are shown on the search results based upon the Postcode or Town/City entered * Home page - National adverts are shown here, which is not based upon what is entered in the search. These are simply adverts that are shown immediately when the website is entered. * Profile pages - Schools, Colleges, Universities can pay show adverts on their Profile pages. Plugin requirements -------------------------------- 1) Be as simple as possible for my client to add Adverts to his website. Using the power of Google Maps (from the search facility) adverts are shown based upon either their Postcode or Town/City. 2) Here's a post-code map of the UK, we could use this data: [login to view URL] For example, my Postcode is in “CM” (CM16) area of the UK, so users may just type in location CM, then it displays all the schools in the CM area, or could type in a town which is in the CM area i.e. “Loughton”, and the advert appears. 3) There are just over 120 different postcode areas across the UK. My client requires wants to display 15 advertisers in each postcode. My client requires 15 advertisers that show up nationally on the homepage before a search is made. All adverts in the website are shown on rotation. 4) Schools, Colleges or Universities can advertise on their Profile pages, we need a facility for that also, so the client may add in an advert for a specific School for a duration i.e. number of views or 1 week, or 2 weeks etc… 7) All adverts, depending on what the client has paid will have a duration also a number of views and clickthroughs. Important we store the click throughs to show Advertisers stats on their advert and how it is working within the website. All of this info is stored in the wp-admin section. 8) Home page adverts - there's are space’s on the home page for advertisers. My client will need control of these adverts. These adverts are shown immediately and not related to search or location.
