The web application runs on the IIS web server (Windows 2008) and database server (SQL Server) We will tell you our server's current hardware configuration and what we currently have to back up the program/the data and how we currently restore the backups. You will come up with the planning for DR to ensure the continuity of the web application in times of disaster. This includes (but not limits to) the types/situation/possible effect/recovery action/people involved in the recovery action/expected consequences/etc... for disasters that will/may happen to affect the continuity of the web application (e.g. the CPU is broken, the Internet line of the whole city is down, some contact person is on leave, website is hacked, flood, terror, etc...). The final result is 1 or more word documents of DR planning totally of at least 30 pages long (not including table of contents, index, references, and of the 30 pages, graphs should occupy not more than half of the document).

In response to the length of the document, Though the DR document contains all the details right from Arch Diagram to step by step DR process, the length depends on the web application you are referring to all other details which are needed to be captured in this document.

A typical DR plan has two core considerations - variables and fixed. The information required for the variable section of the plan will be provided by you; whilst we will build the fixed sections. For example, you provide us the details that will be required for us to perform a risk assessment without which you can't have a DR plan.
