I have a python project which I have running on my local host. I am rather new to python, so need some assistance getting it running on my shared hosting server (with Hostgator). To get it running locally, I ave installed python 2.7.12 and pip and got it running. I imagine the same needs to be done on the server. I'm having trouble installing these though, so hopefully someone with greater expertise in the area can assist my. I have setup a subdomain, where I'll need the site running - which is of course the end goal of this micro project. Please ask any questions if you'd like to know more about this.

Hello from Greece, You have to ask hostgator if your package supports python. Not pay any people to help you. Its impossible to setup python on shared hosting if your provider is not support it. Regards Dimitris

Hello I have a degree in computer engineering, more than 10 years of experience with Linux, and work as a Linux systems administrator for 6 years. I've done several times to install Python projects. If can be done I can do for sure. I need more details about your plan to see if it can be done. Some Hostgator plans restrict software installation. If the job cannot be done I will not charge anything from you.
