PCIE interface programming (C++/ Python)

Hello If you need to grab frames from this PCIe card on Windows only then I can suggest using either DirectShow or Media Foundation for the purpose. FFMPEG is also possible to be used, especially if you need it cross-platform. I can provide the best of the above solutions for your case. I'll need remote access to a machine with the card installed of course. The solution could be C or C++ which depends on the selected technology. It could also be in a form of a C/C++ DLL that could be accessible from Python via ctypes library for instance. Do you need to grab raw frames from the card? Hi, I have more than 8 years in developing multiple camera control applications using c++ , Fire-wire (dv cameras), USB (DSLR cameras), Ethernet (Point grey camera). For one such application, I had to capture images from 2 canon 5D at maximum jpeg resolution with live view stream, stitch the images as soon as the images were captured. For this I had to use Nvidia npp cuda libraries for image alignment and joining. Development Challenges faced, the clients for whom I developed such applications, were from California or Ohio or Australia, I don't own such high end cameras and that too multiple cameras. To access these hardware at client site, used vnc and/or team-viewer effectively for development. For your requirement:- I equate frame grabber card as, reading Live-view from a D SLR camera. All I need to know about your frame grabber, is how to start capturing, stop capturing and which buffer to read for images. Hi, sir. There are many types of PCIE capture board, but I think there are largely two kind: supporting SDK and not. I have already grabbed frames from the two kinds of PCIE cards using several methods. I don't know what kind of PCIE you have,but I can grab bit stream and also convert captured stream to the interface form you need. If you contact me, we can discuss it more seriously.
