Hello, I've been working full time as a Python automation engineer for two years and have experience with efficient processing of CSV files. I've used python's concurrency support to make file transfers from an API run in parallel to improve performance and used generators to keep memory consumption low while reading/writing data to files. It sounds like your script doesn't rely on concurrency but the possibilities are there. My plan would be to look for any synchronous functions which can be made parallel, write unit tests for the parallel version of the function, and then implement it. I have my own python functions for reading/writing CSV files. Since I also work full time, I can't devote too much time to this project out of necessity which is good for you because the work will get done quick. It's the reason why I've quoted a higher price.
