Let me know that version of the MS-Access (MS-Access 2003 or 2007 or onwards) you will prefer? Let me know that do you want front end and back end are separated or combined? (Front end contains forms, modules, reports and Back end contains only tables) I recommend you, it is better to keep both separated because it makes the maintenance of project simple. The data is separated from the application (forms, reports). When you get newer version of front-end, you can keep your data file with you. How many users will use this database? Will your users be using this database outside your LAN or office? Through internet? If so we will go for a web or internet based solution.
