Database design project I am looking for a database designer who can create a SQL database system for my project. Skills and experience required: - Strong knowledge and experience in SQL database design and development - Proficiency in data modeling and database normalization - Familiarity with best practices and industry standards for database design - Ability to understand and work with complex data structures and relationships - Experience in optimizing database performance and ensuring data integrity The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of the client's requirements and be able to design and implement a SQL database system that meets their needs efficiently and effectively. Additionally, since the client is not sure if they require a front-end interface for their database, it would be beneficial for the database designer to have experience in front-end development as well. This would enable them to provide the client with options and recommendations based on their specific needs and preferences. You are required to investigate and understand a publicly available dataset, design a conceptual model for storing the dataset in a relational database, build the database according to your design and host the data, and develop SQL queries in response to a set of requirements. The objective of this assignment is to reinforce what you have learned in the whole course. Specifically, it involves how to build a simple application that connects to a database backend, running a simple relational schema. Part A: Part A: Understanding the Data (0 Marks, Preliminary Work) Part B: Designing the Database (10%) Part C: Creating the Database (10%) Part D: Data Retrieval (15%)

Hi, I have read details. As far as I understand it, I think you are looking for someone who can go through the requirements from your side, and prepare a database architecture for it. We will need your project goals, work flow, and information on the entities involved. Some projects require typical database elements that include logins, sessions, profiles etc. further it depends upon the complexity of the project itself. We will need to identify the entities involved in the project, and go through the data flow that is to be handled. Based upon that, we can create the database structure. one more thing, since you are not sure about the interface, at times when we talk about desktop and web-based applications, the database structure may differ. Web-based applications may include more tables to manage with the data processing that is done online. Since the client isnt sure about the interface yet, we may be interested in knowing atleast if its going to be web-based or desktop-based. I would also like to know if you need us to create tables, their storage variables etc. OR you need a more complete and complex design that include stored procedures, views etc (if we talk about SQL SERVER). Lets discuss this thorougly please. Note: you can provide me with the dataset that you already have, and I can create the schema. Tx.

I believe that first we need to create the ERD for the database, maybe Crowfoot notation or chen notation, next we will convert ERD to logic diagram and then implement the database in MYSQL.
