Hello! I am a licensed professional engineer (Civil) in the state of Florida in the US. I have been building 3D site DTM's for use with GPS machine control equipment for the past 16 years. I worked for the Trimble dealer here in Florida for 10 years doing nothing but building thousands of 3D models of highways, residential subdivisions, levees, commercial sites, etc. I also would train people in how to use the modeling software that we sold. I use Trimble software (Terramodel and Business Center), I can export the 3D model to any software file type. I recently started my own company building DTM's and doing plan takeoffs for customers.
