I have a bachelor's degree in Linguistics, minoring in Japanese language. I have been studying Japanese for almost five years. After graduating from the university in 2012, I immediately worked as a Japanese-English Translator and Proofreader in a Japanese translation company based in Argentina. The documents we handled covered a wide range of topics (tourism, medical, academic, IT, etc.) and types (press releases, website content, brochures, manuals, etc.). I currently work as a freelance translator to further improve my translation skills. I continued to study Japanese during my spare time in order to gain a deeper understanding of the language.
The laptop I use for translation work is equipped with CAT tools, such as Memsource and Xbench, to ensure consistency in terms and styles used throughout the documents. I plan to utilize them fully in order to deliver quality translation to clients. If I receive the job, I plan to asses the work need to be done, negotiate a deadline, and adjust my schedule accordingly. Should there any be rush translation work, I will try my very best to accomplish it within the given time.
Please contact me. I would like to inquire more details. Thank you very much and I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.
