My database is fully functional, saves data remotely(using MySQL ODBC Driver 5.1), locally. The Database is a Hotel booking system, and main features include: Availability, Occupied Rooms, New Booking, Tenant Records(Name, Address, Drivers License uploaded to server with PHP, etc...) & Tax Forms for Occupants that stay over 30 days, Monthly reports, Yearly reports. What I need done: I need someone to take my Microsoft Access Database and be developed into a standalone app. You could use Delphi(Pascal) but much preferred Visual Studios in any written Language. Visual Studios is a lot more ideal for the option: SQL Servers. You can also develop this on Oracle. Time will distinguish skills. So choose which one you are most confident with. I'm not asking for a App Company to manufacture me an enterprise Database. I'm asking for ONE person to do this. Good luck, cheers. If you agree in using Visual Basic which is bundled within Visual Studio 6.0, then we could save the development time at much. I see it is only 5 forms, 1 login interface, and 1 reports. It is not a form conversion, but rebuilding the application using Visual Basic. So, I estimate this wont take 3 days for the development. Let me know if it is acceptable.

Hello tdurward1993. Your project looks interesting but your budget it far away from the real effort. Also some details of your project description is confusing. You are talking about MySQL, Access and SQL Server. Which one do you want to use in future version of the application? I think Oracle is too oversized for this "little" project. I could develop this application in Delphi and with local or remote MySQL database. Development can be done in two weeks. The final delivery time is depending on the complexity of the reports and tax forms which are unknown to me yet. Please consider my bid and be aware that its almost impossible to make that seriously for only $250. Regards Shine

My proposal for your standalone solution is Visual Studio 2010, using Visual Basic (if, for any reason, you prefer C#, it will be OK for me also).
