When making plan version i dump reports from SAP into Excel and send it out to the area managers who fill them out. When i recieve the file i need an excell VBA macro for converting the plan data to the correct upload format. The macro should run automatically every time you swith the view to the Uploaddata sheet. I have placed notes on the fields in the Uploaddata sheet telling what should be harvested and how to identify the data.

I had a look at the file you provided and I will be able to perform this for you. This task can definitely be performed using VBA scripting. I have a couple of questions though. Would the first cell (header cell) in the SAP report be the value 1.000 or something similar. If not I can develop the code to start dynamically processing the recordset (table) starting with the current row that has been selected. Automating something through scripts all depend on a pattern. The patter in this case is to find the total value which has a string of '*****' included within it, and then start working your way up to get the associated recordsets. The code can be adjusted to return whatever column you'd like. Relevant experience. I have 13 years of data analytics / data mining experience. I also have worked on SAP for about 10 years however that is not relevant to this project. Also I do not require any payments upfront and only require payments when the work is complete and you are satisfied. I also provide support afterwords, I always try to be responsive to follow up questions.
