Project asset and liability scenarios using Monte Carlo simulation including : 1) Generate stochastic asset and liability return scenarios (using correlation matrix for a portfolio of assets and liabilities) 2) Generate various discounting curves and funded status ratios (assets divided by liabilities) 3) Dynamically rebalance the asset portfolio and liability hedge if triggers are reached 4) At annual intervals (i) test for funding requirements, incorporating complex formula based funding rules and (ii) produce pro-forma GAAP disclosures 5) Produce outputs including charts

I am very well versed in running simulations for financial market models (having worked as a quant for a hedge fund) though I am surprised that you are looking to do Monte Carlo simulations in Excel. MC simulations are extremely processor intensive and using Excel is likely to cause performance issues. While I am a qualified accountant, I am not familiar with GAAP requirement on financial modelling. If you have specific format that meets the GAAP requirement, I am more than happy to produce output in such a format. Looking forward to hearing from you.
