Community driven site with design submission,voting, retail

I am in the process of launching a new UK based start-up with a product that will require a site with very simular functions, looks, and feel to [login to view URL] I encourage anybody interested in bidding for this project to take a good look around [login to view URL] to get an instant idea of the features I will require and how the site should look and feel to users. Essentially, the site will need to integrate a method for users to submit their designs on a blank product template. (see [login to view URL]) Approved submissions will then be displayed (as with threadless's gallery)and voted on by the community of users. So a voting and comments system is also required. Also needed is shopping cart and stock integration as every 2 - 4 weeks the top designs will be produced in limited numbers and made available on the site for purchase. Ultimately the decision of which designs are made is left up to us. The scoring system helps give us a general idea of which designs our customers want. In terms of layout and design, the site should again follow the threadless model closely. Whilst an exact replica is not wanted, the layout of a simple and clear web 2.0 style design and user interface is important. My whole business model is based on the building and retention of an active community, there for, the social element of the site is of upmost importance. The site will need to have the function of viewable community profiles, including their votes and designs, and integrate a blog type facility as seen with threadless's blog forum. As an addition to this I am also very keen to integrate users facebook profiles from the start. On the backend I will need to be able to update latest designs for voting and also for retail, as well as theme based promotions like "threadless loves". Remember!!! I am not a gifted techie dev' like you, I have a number of wordpress based sites and have stumbled throug css style sheets to modify themes and such, but other than that I stick to wysiwyg for publishing. Please bare this in mind both with communications and when considering backend interface.
