Mr. Frazier provided the strategy, business planning, staffing mix development, pricing & gross margin management, and day-to-day oversite for BluNotes of Charlotte, a live jazz / blues / New Orleans food restaurant in the University Area of Charlotte, North Carolina. The restaurant was 12,000+ square feet, generated $1.4MM in its first year of operation, and provided jobs for 150+ employees ranging from servers, bartenders, line cooks, chefs, managers, and auxiliary staff. Mr. Frazier was a “hands-on” owner, having developed all graphic design elements (e.g., menu, marketing materials, website, logo, etc.), negotiated all contracts with vendors (i.e., to include food, alcohol, performance, landlord), and provided 100% oversite of all problem management & conflict resolution responsibilities pertinent to staff, guests, or vendors. Mr. Frazier recently sold the restaurant to a small family-operated business.
