I have a functional website that is selling plants and trees. I have some shipping rules that need implementing. 1) Any Tree or Plant that’s taller than 2.4meters is added to cart and the shipping address is WITHIN 50 miles from the Business, then a Flat Rate £60 will be charged as shipping, regardless of how many plants and/or trees under 2.4metres are also added to the cart. 2) If the tree or plant that is taller than 2.4meters, and the shipping address is over 50miles from the business shipping code, then a notice will be displayed for the user in the cart, and he/she needs to call and get the order placed. In that time, if I user tries to checking out, it will not allow him to checkout. However, if there are other items under 2.4 metres in the same cart, then normal rates will apply and can be sent. Update: A message should appear in the Tree that is over 2.4 metres in height to say something like "The Tree (Item) in your cart is over 2.4 metres inheight and requires a customer shipping quote. Please call / or WhatsApp us direct on 000000000". There are currently all the correct normal shipping pricing for anything under 2.4metres in the cart, but that would need to be overwritten once the 2 conditions above apply. I have installed a paid plugin that limits restrictions, but i am unsure if this is the best solution. Aybowan 2) any tree or plant that’s taller than 2.4meters and the shipping address is beyond 50 miles then a flat rate £150 will be charged as shipping. 3) if two or more plants are purchased at once then the cost of shipping will be half of the flat rate. To implement the above rules, I advise that you utilize the built-in shipping zone functionality in the WooCommerce plugin. You could set up two separate zones, one for orders within 50 miles and one for orders over 50 miles, and double-check that the rates are appropriately set. Additionally, you could set up special shipping rates for orders of two or more plants, making sure that the rates are discounts based on the established rates. I hope this helps.
