Hi there, I have been developing IoT products for quite some time. As your query is concerned, using AWS or Google cloud doesn't matter. All that matters is your software stack. As these products provide that stack ready. A simple backend where your remote devices can ping and post data using MQTT or any such framework. Later we can use D3.js in frontend to visualize this data and make it available to people as API endpoints. Please let me know if you have any more technical questions regarding your project.
