I need AJAX code developed which will be run on the BlackBerry mobile phone. The AJAX code will be integrated with a remote SAP system. The AJAX code will run asynchronously and request updates from the SAP system.
The SAP portion of it has already been developed. All you need to do is develop the AJAX part of it.
This is a small 'test' task and if this is carried out well there will be much larger amount of work.
## Deliverables
The AJAX code will asynchronously called an XML page which will be returned. The AJAX code will then read the information returned from the SAP server. Once returned, the web page will need to be updated with the information returned from the SAP server. This is a fairly straightforward task which, if done quickly and well will result in a lot more work.
The SAP side has already been developed and the XML page is already in place. All you will need to do is write the JavaScript (AJAX).

Hi Everyone, I think the bids are coming in a bit too high and it may have to be because I selected the wrong classification for this project. ($500 and higher). I am going to provide some more information below and I urge those of you who have submitted a bid to re-submit the bid based on the amount of effort involved and your hourly rate. Remember this is just a small task and if done well, will result in much more work.
Here is a pseudo code that I have put together for you guys:
1. For each line in a table, asynchronously call an XML page (running on the SAP server) and passing in an ID (which is a field in the table).
2. The simple XML document returned will return a status. If the status returned is anything other then READY or RESERVED (actual values) then delete the row of the table. If it is READY or RESERVED then do nothing and process next row
3. If (for any reason) the SAP system is unreachable then display a message ([login to view URL])
By my estimates this should be somewhere between 3-5 hours of work. **If you disagree, it is OK, please state so and explain why it is more hours.**

Hi All, I have updated the bid request with more information as I feel that the bids that were coming in were way to high. I urge you all to re-submit your bids and please keep in mind that there is a lot more work for you if you are selected to do this task (and you do it well).
