Chrome Plugin / Gmail extension

Hello, I'm a full-stack developer and have worked with both Chrome and FF's extensions. For the tracking pixels we have 2 options, use a third party service, or run your own server for it. I can work with both options and after that it would be a matter to display results on the extension and on gmail's web app.

Hi, I have created a similar thing before but it's not just the plugin. It requires that we store the details on a web server along with the plugin so that when a user opens an email, details are sent to the web server and stored there and then the plugin would get the details and display them within gmail.
