This project is to create the first stage of a scalable mobile application with node.js server backend. The app will integrate with a number of third party APIs, the data from which is processed on servers and stored in our databases (Mongo DB and PostgresSQL) before being passed onto the phone application. The project starts with an iPhone application with Apple Watch component, but will in future require iPad, Android and web apps. The iPhone application involves a 30-40 screens to access all of the features and functions. These screens are all in Sketch format. The app requires push notification support. We will heavily rely on the Amazon Web Services stack, including their hosted database service, hosted identity management solution, and more. We require one or more developers experienced in this kind of project. Specific skills required include: - node.js - ExpressJS or Meteor - Swift - MongoDB - PostgresSQL - React and Flux - Foundation for Web, Foundation for Email - Amazon Web Services - SendGrid Code will be hosted on Bitbucket/Github, project management via Trello, project communication via Slack, development environment via Cloud9 and Heroku, public deployment via AWS. Payment will be fortnightly based on work complete with a deposit paid. The selected freelancer(s) will be required to provide recommendations to scope and technical platform of the project. We hope they'll take interest in the project and ownership/share options are available to suitable freelancers.
