Printing & Ad-Hoc Creator App

Hi there ... we require an application that will run on a Windows box. This application will provide atleast two functions, with a third function that is still to be decided. The app will be used for a Point of Sale system within restaurants and other hospitality based venues. The first function: When run, the app will need to create an Ad-Hoc wireless network using an attached USB based Wifi adapter. The USB adapter will be plugged into a USB hub, it will never be plugged into the host computer directly. The USB Wifi adapter that we will be using is: [login to view URL] The second function: The app will need to poll a specific webpage every 15-30 seconds. This will be a PHP page. This PHP page will render a "receipt" that will then need to be automatically printed via an attached USB printer. The printer could be a normal office laser OR an actual POS receipt printer. The app will need to be able to use the included functions on a POS receipt printer such as auto-cutting. Each time the system polls, it will either not have a receipt, or it will have a receipt to print. If a receipt is printed, the app will need to automatically poll the page again to see if there is another receipt to print. If there is no receipt to print, then it will wait 15-30 seconds before polling again. This will work over HTTPS. You will in essence be printing a webpage, but all the polling, collecting the actual page, and printing must happen WITHOUT any sort of user intervention - it must all be automatic. Third function: We may require a web browser within the app. This function is still unknown if it will be needed. Please quote on only the above two functions as well as a second quote for all three. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows 95 and above is preferred. Please inform us if this may pose a problem.
